Questionnaire Results

1. What gender are you?  Male 60%, Female 40%

This shows that from the research that i have done that mainly males have done my research however I can't really analyse this as these are people who have answered my questionnaire. If anything according to my questionnaires males are more likely to be my target audience based on the higher percentage.

2. How old are you? Under 10 5%, 11-20 75%, 21-30 10%, 30+ 10%

From this we can see that 11-20 year old are the dominant age group with the highest percentage. This then means that my target audience age group would roughly around that age.

3.What is your favourite genre? Action Adventure 35%, Comedy 10%, Horror 5%, Sport 10%, Thriller 5%, Romance 15%, Musical 10%, Animation 5%, Drama 5%, World Cinema 0%

With the action adventure category being the highest i am going to do a film that is based on the action adventure genre.

4.What is your favourite film? Lord of the Rings Trilogy x3, Charlie with a Chance of Meatballs, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Mamma Mia, Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Fast and Furious 6 x2, Dear John, Les Miserables x2, Blade Runner, Sex in the City x2, Avatar, Goal x2, Ted, Bridge Too Far

From the different favourite films this is hard to analyse and go with ideas from this as everyone has there own opinion but the most favoured films in the action adventure are Lord of the Rings, and Fast and Furious so will do something that is based on either of those films.

5. Do you watch film trailers? Yes 100%, No 0%

As we can see all of the participants who took part watched film trailers.

6. If yes, where do you watch your film trailers? Youtube 55%, IMDB 20%, Itunes 5%, Twitter/Facebook 0%, Internet 20%

The majority said that they watched there trailers on Youtube so when i have finished my film trailer i will place it on Youtube and let people watch it so they can offer me feedback and that they can also enjoy it.

7. What do you believe is the most important in a trailer? Big Name Actors 20%, Good Locations 5%, Good Special Effects 5%, Good Music 15%, Good Story 55%

Finally most people thought that the most important part is the story so during my film i will focus on all aspects however i will make sure that the story is clear and exciting for the audience.
