Magazine Feedback

The magazine feedback I have received has been very useful as it gave me a different view of my magazine and therefore this feedback allowed me to change it to the mould in which the target audience I was aiming it for would like and therefore buy. Through the construction of my magazine I have people comment on the font, colour, placing's of pictures and texts, and the masthead design. To show what I mean I have got a few below to show what they commented on throughout the production of my magazine.

"The opacity of the masthead is too strong and it needs to be lighter so that the character can be seen through the masthead but strong enough so that the masthead stands out and can be seen."

"The main picture doesn't look natural down the middle of the page. Push it to one side. Make sure that you can see the character but showing more of the setting can make the feel of the picture more engaging with the audience."

"After watching your trailer the picture has to have a tint of old fashioned to it even though it is a modern gangster films. The way the film is represented in the trailer shows that it is a modern gangster film but with old fashioned bits within it, so adding the tint of old fashioned to the picture will fit in with the trailer."

"The green and red don't go together and makes it look dodgy. The red also within it I good but is placed in the wrong positions as it clashes with other colours in certain parts and you can't see the writing because of that. So maybe a yellow or an orange with the red may be a good combination."

"A couple of sections on the magazine don't stand out as they should as the size of the writing is too small so therefore you should make them a little bigger."

"Put more spacing between the writing. It is too tight and cramped"

"The yellow is a very strong colour. It needs to stand out but it needs to be toned down a little."

"The white and red works really well on the front cover and now that the main image is not blocked it is starting to look really good. Pulling the main image in front of the title is really well done also. The yellow is questionable."

"Make the writing in the top right below the Empire headline a little bolder so that it can be seen and the words can be read."

"Add a line at the top of the magazine. It has something at the top of the of other magazine so use your research and look at this and make a decision on what to do and write on the top if you add something."

These pieces of feedback have helped me to create the magazine I have now.
