Setting

The settings I have used for my magazine, poster and trailer have been used because i feel that they the best practically for what it wanted to do. All of the settings ticked the boxes for what i was looking for when it came to what kind of feel i want to get across to the audience.
This is the first setting i used for my magazine front cover and a few little parts within my trailer. This is my house and my next door neighbours house. We felt when we where looking for a house that looked a little rough but wasn't where you thought a gangster wouldn't hide out or pull suspicion we thought instantly of my own house. As i live in the middle of the street it is usually not given a second glance as all of the houses look the same so therefore we thought this would be good.

The shot above is a road that is by a rough area you could possibly say of Maghull. We have used this for the obvious purposes of it being rough and not being a road that you think wow. It is exactly the opposite. As it is dull we thought this would be quite a good place to do filming and to do my picture for my poster. The road was also chosen as it is relatively quite with hardly any cars coming at all when the filming was done.

This next two shots are off the MCA community club/pub. We thought that this was another place which we could do some filming as it is once again quite and when it is dark the setting is perfect for something that you may see in an actual gangster film. It is also been recently refurbished so we thought that it would;d be good to get shots in a new place. Finally the places where we could place the camera was another reason. The camera was put in several different positions but we used the ones we thought where most effective for the trailer as most where experimental.

The final place is that of Liverpool city centre. We shot the establishing shot at the start and another couple of little features round there as we thought that it would be good to get shots of the city where it is being set. It was really imperative that we got the establishing shot at the start as it was a vital part for the trailer. Also with the stereotype Liverpool has for crime we felt that it would be really good to it there.
